Morgex Aosta Valley Mont Blanc

Morgex is a characteristic valley town situated at an altitude 923 meters near the base of Mont Blanc. The climate is dry and windy and the sun shines often even in spite of weather forecasts.
Located in the heart of Valdigne, the town is best known for the famous DOC "Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle (highest altitude vineyard in Europe).
This strong bond with nature, has developed a particular focus on the environment, resulting in the creation of numerous accessible hiking trails suitable forĀ  both adults and children. The area is also wel known forĀ  biking and bike paths are found throughout the region. Another favorite activity of locals and tourists alike is rock climbing.
From the town center you can easily reach magnificent and peaceful woods, where you frequently see wild animals. Also in the area, the Colle San Carlo, leads to easy walks to the lakes and the Tete Arpy. This is the ideal vantage point on the chain Mont Blanc.
